Annual Meeting at Photonics West

Thanks to our 50 members who attended the APOMA Annual Meeting at Photonics West earlier this month! The Meeting featured several presentations and some exciting announcements of what's to come in 2014.

Dr. Tayyab Suratwala of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory presented on "Recent Developments of Large Optics for NIF." Other presentations included Optifab in review (our largest ever!), and changes in the works for the APOMA website, including improvements to the member directory. Watch for communication from us about that soon!

Read on to learn about our new board, Sydor Optics' 50th anniversary, and the upcoming Tucson Technical Workshop.
