APOMA Annual Meeting Recap

We had a full house for the annual APOMA member meeting at Photonics West in San Francisco. Attendees heard from members of the board, APOMA President Justin Mahanna, marketing expert Michele Nichols, and featured speaker Ian Moss.

Moss shared expected changes to ITAR and U.S. export control, and ramifications for our businesses. Nichols shared membership directory updates and outreach plans to improve member opportunities from APOMA.

The APOMA board shared a preview of the upcoming Tucson Workshop, and their memories of Rick Nasca. Thank you to all who attended.

Please send us any comments or input as we plan for the year ahead.

Updated member directory
To better serve our members and website visitors, we have modified our online member directory. The pages are now populated with expanded company descriptions, providing users more information that can help in their search for an optical partner.

If you would like your information changed or updated, or if you have feedback please contact us.

Call for papers: 2016 Fall workshop

We are looking forward to our next technical workshop in Tucson | November 10-11, 2016.

We invite all members who wish to submit an educational paper to provide a topic and brief abstract. As a workshop focused on fabrication, papers discussing how to build an operational and technical edge within companies will primarily be considered.

The deadline for submission is May 1 and the final presentation schedule will be finalized in August.

Thank you to all who submit their work and we look forward to seeing you in Tucson!
