Optics Education Progress Optics Education Progress

On Thursday, September 4, Rick Nasca and Jim Sydor joined an impressive lineup of speakers at the annual meeting of the Rochester Regional Photonics Cluster. These APOMA board members presented on Monroe Community College's increased enrollment in the optics program, and their collaborations with local manufacturers and high schools. Thanks to the Corning Foundation, new labs and equipment will help provide employees with skills needed to meet industry demand.
