G&H’s Optical Systems Division is at the forefront of using light energy for imaging, sensing, transmitting, and other advanced applications. With over 75 years of expertise, we design and manufacture world-leading precision optics and OEM sub-systems to meet the most demanding requirements across multiple industries.

Our enabling technologies include optical bonding, Magneto Rheological Finishing (MRF), superpolishing, advanced metrology, optical coatings, diamond turning, and chemically toughened optics. These capabilities allow us to process a diverse range of glass types and crystals for applications spanning from Deep Ultraviolet (DUV) to Near Infrared (NIR), including Shortwave Infrared (SWIR). Supported by 33 state-of-the-art coating chambers (e-beam, IBS), we produce coatings optimized for High Laser Damage Threshold applications, extending from DUV (193 nm) to the far IR. Our advanced finishing techniques, such as MRF and Single Point Diamond Turning, ensure exceptional precision and quality in optical components.
